How we Turned a French Bulldog into 1000 Car Air Fresheners
And before you ask, Vanilla. We love Louie, but we passed on “original” scent. ??
Eurotech Autohaus wanted a creative giveaway for their customers. They’re known for servicing high-performance European cars and for their customer support liaison, Louie the Frenchy.
Louie is the head of morale, snacks, naps, and greeting guests so we figured we had to immortalise him…
We spun up DALL-E 3 and knocked out 20+ options using an image of the little guy as inspiration. Once an exact match for Louie was found… ? we dropped the artwork into Photoshop for a bit of touchup and added some branding elements.
Next, we collaborated with the talented Matt Jordanoski from Custom Wizard, who brought our vision to life, creating print-ready proofs of what was about to become a very high-demand item – Vanilla scented car air fresheners, shaped just like Louie (albeit a slightly tougher version)!
Once the proofs were approved, the Custom Wizard crew went straight to work on production, and the next thing we knew, a thousand vanilla-scented Louies were making their way to WA.
This project was a great blend of new technology and great people. With the current surge in Machine Learning and AI it’s never been faster or easier to bring projects like this to life.
At DeCODE we spend a lot of time in the digital space so it’s nice to jump into a physical product for a fun project!
