Greenbunch is a gift, plant and flower shop in East Victoria Park, Perth, built around a jungle-like store that also houses the Bunch Cafe. The brief this time was not a rebuild from scratch. It was a refresh of the WooCommerce platform DeCODE originally built for them, aimed at keeping the site as easy to shop as the store is to wander through.
The catalogue had grown well beyond the original build: hampers, gift vouchers, potted plants and fresh-cut flowers alongside a rotating range of homewares and gifts. We restructured navigation around how people actually shop for a gift, by product type, by price band, by recipient and by occasion, covering everything from birthdays and anniversaries to sympathy and corporate orders. Bestsellers now get their own dedicated section, so returning customers can find the pieces the Greenbunch community keeps coming back to without digging through the full catalogue.
The homepage leads with a bold, photography-driven hero and a bestsellers strip, then moves straight into the four core categories: flowers, plants, hampers and gifts. Product pages carry warm, conversational copy that reads like the person behind the counter is describing the piece to you, which matches the tone Greenbunch has built in store and on social.
We also brought the Bunch Cafe, events and FAQs into the main site structure, so the online store reflects the full Greenbunch experience rather than just the shop. A refreshed About page tells the story of the space itself: the plants, the coffee, the community, and the pet and pram-friendly, inclusive feel that sets it apart from a standard florist.
The result is a faster, easier-to-browse WooCommerce store that keeps pace with a growing product range while staying true to the warm, slightly chaotic charm that makes Greenbunch a local favourite.
