The Feeding Corner – Website & E-commerce Platform

Project Overview

The Feeding Corner needed a website that could properly support the breadth and depth of their services while also enabling product sales and NDIS-funded purchases. As a growing allied health provider working with families, carers, and NDIS participants, the business required a digital platform that was clear, welcoming, and capable of handling complex information without overwhelming users.

DeCODE Digital was engaged to design and build a new website that combined service-led content with a fully integrated e-commerce experience, creating a single platform that could support education, enquiries, and online purchasing.

Structuring Complex Information

One of the key challenges with this build was the volume and sensitivity of information that needed to be presented. The Feeding Corner offers a wide range of feeding therapy services, support pathways, and funding options, all of which needed to be explained clearly and accessibly.

We focused heavily on information architecture, carefully structuring the site so users could easily find the right service, understand how it applied to their situation, and take the next step with confidence. Content was organised into logical sections, supported by clean navigation and clear calls to action, ensuring the site felt supportive rather than clinical.

Integrated E-commerce and NDIS Functionality

In addition to services, the website includes a fully integrated online store selling products that support the therapies offered by The Feeding Corner. The e-commerce system was designed to feel like a natural extension of the site rather than a separate experience.

A key requirement was the ability for NDIS participants to enter relevant details so products could be billed appropriately through providers. This required custom fields, conditional logic, and a purchasing flow that balanced compliance with ease of use. Customers can also create accounts, view order history, and manage repeat purchases.

Design Approach

The visual direction for the site was intentionally warm, modern, and approachable. The design uses a combination of carefully selected stock imagery and custom digital assets to reflect the supportive, family-focused nature of the business.

The result is a site that feels friendly and calm while still being professional. Colour, typography, and layout were all chosen to support clarity and readability, particularly for parents and carers navigating what can often be an emotional and complex space.

Built for Growth and Ongoing Updates

The website was built on WordPress with an easy-to-use content management system, allowing the team at The Feeding Corner to update content, add services, expand the store, and publish new information as the business grows.

From the outset, the platform was designed to support future expansion, whether that’s additional services, new products, or ongoing SEO-driven content.
