What we built in

Taylored to Suit is Sophie Taylor’s Perth Christmas decorating and events business, handling commercial installations for car dealerships, hotels and shopping centres, residential decorating, Christmas hire (trees, wreaths, backdrops, scene packages, plus Halloween and Easter), event management and wedding planning. The site combines a transactional WooCommerce hire store with detailed product options and a polished B2B case study gallery for commercial install enquiries. Rich, festive imagery and curated product photography position the brand at the premium end of the category. A hybrid build that does double duty as both an enquiry-led decorating service and a decoration-hire store, with each side supporting the other.

Taylored to Suit is Sophie Taylor’s Perth Christmas decorating and events business, working across the full spectrum of festive seasons. The team handles commercial Christmas installations for car dealerships, hotels, shopping centres, hospitality venues, hair salons and medical facilities, alongside residential Christmas decorating, a substantial Christmas hire range that extends into Halloween and Easter, plus event management and wedding planning. It is a genuinely rich, multi-stream business, and the website needed to serve both transactional hire customers and B2B decorating clients without one undermining the other.

The brief was a build that could handle WooCommerce hire of decorations with detailed product options, alongside showcasing past commercial install case studies for the high-value B2B leads. The seasonal nature of the business meant the site also needed to flex across the year, surfacing Christmas content in the peak season while keeping the events and weddings side visible all year round.

The structure splits cleanly across the streams. Christmas Decorating runs as the headline service with separate flows for commercial and residential clients. The Christmas Hire range gets its own WooCommerce treatment with detailed product options for trees, wreaths, backdrops, scene packages and accessories, alongside Halloween and Easter ranges. Event Management and Wedding Planning each get their own dedicated treatment for clients who come through the door for a non-Christmas job.

The hire side is where the build does its most interesting work. Each decoration in the catalogue has its own product page with sizing, configuration options and hire period information, supported by photography that lets clients picture the item in their own space. The cart and checkout flow handles the booking-style logistics of hire, where dates matter as much as quantities. For commercial install clients, the case study gallery showcases past projects with the kind of polished imagery that turns a browse into a quote enquiry.

Visually the build leans into rich, festive imagery with curated product photography that does justice to the premium end of the Christmas decoration market. Sophie’s personal voice and aesthetic run through the brand, which is what separates Taylored to Suit from the bulk-supply end of the category. The result feels editorial and curated rather than catalogue and commodity.

Practical features support the seasonal flex. Christmas content can be elevated in November and December and tucked back into a sub-navigation through the off-season, while the events and weddings sides stay visible year-round. Quote request forms tuned for the B2B install side route straight to Sophie for the kind of personalised follow-up that high-value clients expect.

The result is a hybrid site that does double duty. It runs as both an enquiry-driven decorating and events business and a transactional decoration-hire store, with each side supporting rather than diluting the other.
