Vet Sutures

Vetsutures brings premium, Italian-manufactured surgical sutures to Australian veterinary practices at a price that respects the bottom line. Their range covers small animal, equine, bovine and dental applications, with every suture produced in an ISO-certified Italian clean room and finished with advanced siliconized drilled-end needle technology.

The brief was a big one: take an existing suture store built for a different market and transform it into a dedicated veterinary e-commerce business. That meant a new brand, a new product range and a complete rebuild of the site, all the way down to the theme.

We rebuilt the catalogue from scratch in WooCommerce, structuring five product families across absorbable ranges (BIOLONG, BIOCRYL and BIOSHORT) and non-absorbable ranges (BIOLENE and NYLON). Every SKU carries its own detailed specification table covering gauge, needle type, curvature, suture length and pack size, so vets can find exactly the right suture for the procedure in front of them.

Product photography did not exist for much of the new range, so we generated it. Each product’s box artwork was built programmatically as a 3D render, complete with accurate spec panels and the correct needle diagram for its type. The result is a consistent, professional catalogue that looks like it came straight from a studio shoot.

The design itself is clean and clinical, with a custom header and footer, a dynamic FAQ system the team can update straight from WordPress, and trust signals woven throughout: ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certification, CE 0373 Class III compliance, EO sterilisation and a five-year shelf life. Multi-currency support lets New Zealand practices shop in NZD, and a free sample request form makes it easy for new customers to try before they buy.
