Rebuilding the Digital Presence for Australia’s Leading International Food Distributor
The Opportunity
British Provender is Australia’s exclusive wholesale distributor for iconic food and drink brands from the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and the USA. Established in 1986 in Perth, Western Australia, the company represents over 30 iconic brands including Colman’s, Weetabix, Branston, Tunnocks, Irn Bru and Rowntree’s, supplying more than 400 products to over 2,000 retail partners nationwide. Their existing website was outdated and no longer reflected the scale and professionalism of their operations, so they needed a complete rebuild to better showcase their brand portfolio and attract new stockists.
Our Approach
We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress website using Beaver Builder, creating a bold, professional design anchored by British Provender’s red, white and blue brand identity. The site was structured to clearly present their extensive brand portfolio, communicate their value proposition as an officially appointed UK agent, and provide clear pathways for retailers to become stockists and partners.
Key Features
The website features a striking homepage with animated statistics counters highlighting 30+ iconic brands, 40 years in Australia, 400+ products supplied and 2,000+ retail partners. A comprehensive brand portfolio section showcases every brand with dedicated pages and product information. The “Become a Stockist” section provides a streamlined enquiry process for new retail partners, while the “Partner With Us” page targets international manufacturers looking for Australian distribution. A scrolling brand ticker provides visual impact, and the site integrates with their existing online ordering portal for current stockists. Gravity Forms handles all enquiry management across the site.
SEO & Digital Strategy
Built with Yoast SEO, the site targets wholesale distribution and international food brand search terms across Australia. The mobile-first responsive design ensures retailers and manufacturers can easily browse the brand portfolio and submit enquiries on any device, while fast loading times and structured content support strong search engine visibility.
