The Fishability build was required as the site has quite complex booking and reporting functionality. It was great developing and working on a complex backend of a site that then needed to translate to a simple, easy to use front end.
The Fishability team assist children and adults requiring support to experience the joy of fishing with the assistance from trained and experienced volunteers and by using purpose-built motorised rods, reels and fishing rod holders. Their mission is to enhance the well-being and self-esteem of Western Australians living with disabilities by providing and facilitating quality recreational fishing opportunities and experiences.
