Vascular Care WA is Dr Brendan Stanley’s specialist vascular and endovascular surgery practice, consulting from Mount Medical Centre, St John of God Murdoch and St John of God Mandurah Consulting Suites. The practice covers the full spectrum of vascular surgery, peripheral vascular disease, aneurysms, carotid disease, varicose veins and hyperhidrosis, alongside an in-house ultrasound diagnostic service that supports both diagnosis and treatment planning. The website needed to do justice to a specialist who works with complex, often anxiety-provoking conditions.
The brief was to build a clinical brochure that could serve two distinct audiences: patients researching their condition and possible treatments, and referring GPs who need to direct patients to the right specialist with confidence. Each audience needs different things from the site, but both needed to feel that Dr Stanley’s experience and the calm professionalism of the practice came through immediately.
The structure walks visitors through the conditions and the treatments separately, with detailed pages for the major condition categories. Peripheral vascular disease, aneurysms, carotid artery disease, varicose veins and hyperhidrosis each get their own treatment with patient-friendly language that explains the condition without dumbing it down. The treatment side covers the surgical and endovascular options that Dr Stanley offers, with the kind of detail that lets a patient ask informed questions in their appointment.
A dedicated section for the in-house ultrasound diagnostic service positions it as part of the integrated care model rather than a separate referral, which strengthens both the patient journey and the referrer’s confidence in the workup. Resource downloads for patients and doctors support the practice with the kind of educational material that builds reputation among referrers over time.
Visually the build sits in a clean, calm medical aesthetic with anatomical iconography that gives the vascular work an immediate visual identity. The brand pitch sits on three pillars: Experience, Technology and Care, which captures the offer in a way that resonates with both patient and referrer audiences. The multi-location selector handles the consulting rooms cleanly so patients can choose the location nearest to them.
A photography-led approach to Dr Stanley puts a face to the name, which matters for patients facing surgery. Contact pathways are professional and considered, with clear paths for new patient enquiries, GP referrals and ultrasound bookings.
The result is a specialist medical site that earns trust through restraint. It explains complex vascular conditions in a way patients can understand, gives referring GPs the confidence to send their patients across, and carries the seriousness of vascular surgery without ever tipping into the clinical coldness that sometimes defines the category.
