A Warm New Digital Home for a Brand-New Family Practice in Osborne Park

The Opportunity

St Mary Medical Centre is a brand-new mixed billing general practice opening its doors at 127 Main Street, Osborne Park WA. Built around a team of experienced general practitioners, a dedicated skin cancer and skin surgery specialist, and an experienced Nurse Practitioner, the practice needed a professional website to introduce the team to the community, communicate the full range of services on offer, and start building patient relationships before the doors even opened on 8 June 2026.

Our Approach

We designed and developed a fully custom WordPress website using Beaver Builder, anchored by St Mary Medical Centre’s bold dark navy and gold brand palette. Every section was hand-built to feel warm and trustworthy, with clear hierarchy across services, doctors and practice information. Custom post types were created from scratch for the team and the services so that future updates stay easy to manage, and a comprehensive set of custom shortcodes was developed to keep contact details, headers, footers and booking calls consistent across every page.

Key Features

The homepage opens with a striking “Opening in” countdown that builds anticipation toward the launch date, followed by a 5-card feature strip highlighting the practice’s key benefits including qualified doctors, easy location next to the local pharmacy, mixed billing options, family-friendly care and the breadth of services available. A dynamic services slider showcases all nine clinical offerings, from general practice and women’s and men’s health through to a dedicated skin cancer clinic, medical acupuncture and onsite pathology with Clinipath. The meet-the-team grid features filterable buttons that let visitors view all staff or narrow down to doctors, nurse practitioners or allied health professionals, with full profile pages for every team member. A custom contact page brings together opening hours, phone, fax, email, address, a Google map and a Gravity Forms enquiry form in one clean layout, and a yellow booking card sits across the site ready to be wired up to the practice’s online booking platform.

SEO & Digital Strategy

Built with Yoast SEO, the site targets local healthcare search terms across Osborne Park and the surrounding Perth suburbs. A mobile-first responsive design makes it easy for patients to find practice information, browse doctor profiles and reach out for appointments on any device, while fast loading times and well-structured content support strong search visibility for local GP, skin cancer, mixed billing and family practice queries.

The Outcome

St Mary Medical Centre now has a polished, professional and welcoming online presence that does justice to the team’s experience and the practice’s vision for community-focused family healthcare. The site communicates clearly what the practice stands for, who the doctors are and what services are on offer, giving the community everything they need to feel confident booking their first appointment when the doors open.
