Mother Figure is a bespoke pregnancy keepsake business founded by Nicolle, who — while pregnant with her daughter Florence — captured her own pregnant form in 3D and turned it into a sculpture. The result was so personal and powerful she set out to give other expecting mums the same experience: a perfect 3D model of their pregnant body, hand-finished into a hand-held statuette designed to last generations.
The product is unusual enough that the website has to do most of the explaining: what is it, how does it work, what does the finished piece look like, how long does the process take, when in pregnancy is the right time to book. Customers are emotional, time-bound (pregnancy doesn’t wait), and want both inspiration and reassurance.
We built Mother Figure a soft, characterful website that puts the finished pieces front and centre, with a clear “How it Works” walkthrough, Nicolle’s founder story for the personal connection, individual statuette galleries, and a streamlined booking and enquiry path. Custom functionality supports the booking flow for the 3D capture sessions and the order-management side of bespoke production.
The visual approach is warm, intimate and quietly luxurious — appropriate for a product that sits between keepsake, artwork and milestone gift. The result is a website that does justice to a product line built entirely on emotional resonance.
