What we built in

The McBrearleys wanted their wedding website to feel like an extension of the day itself rather than a generic template. DeCODE built them a one-of-a-kind wedding site with the ceremony details, RSVP flow, accommodation info and personal touches that helped their guests feel looked after well before they arrived.

Most wedding websites are forgettable — a generic template, a stock photo, and a click-here-to-RSVP button. The McBrearleys wanted something that felt like them: warm, personal, and useful for the genuine logistics that every couple actually needs guests to navigate.

For a wedding site to actually do its job, it needs to surface the things guests ask the most: where’s the ceremony, where’s the reception, what’s the dress code, where do I stay, do I need to RSVP and how, is there a gift registry. The styling matters, but the structure has to be airtight or the couple ends up answering the same questions on group chats for months.

We built the McBrearleys a custom wedding website with a clear story landing page, ceremony and reception details, an RSVP form that captured dietary requirements and song requests, an accommodation guide for out-of-town guests, and the personal storytelling touches that turn a logistics page into a keepsake. The site handled the practical work and reflected the personalities behind the day.

The visual approach is warm and characterful — appropriate for a one-off project that needs to feel handcrafted rather than templated. The result is a website that did the logistics work cleanly and gave the McBrearleys a piece of digital wedding stationery worth keeping.
