Battery Safes Australia is the authorised local distributor for Phoenix Safe Company, a UK manufacturer with origins in Liverpool dating back to 1799. The business supplies VDMA 24994 certified lithium-ion battery storage cabinets to industrial, mining, oil and gas, and commercial buyers across Australia, with strong presence in Western Australia and the resources sector. As lithium battery fires become one of the fastest-growing workplace safety risks in the country, the brand exists to give buyers a properly certified, locally-stocked option for storing and charging.
The brief was to build a serious technical brochure that could function as the Australian reference site for the Phoenix battery safe range. Buyers needed enough product depth to specify the right cabinet, enough compliance information to satisfy procurement and HSE teams, and a clear enquiry path back to the Australian distribution arm rather than the UK parent. The site sits alongside sister brand Infinity Safes within the wider safe distribution business.
The product architecture is organised around the four core safe series: BS0440 Fighter, BS1280 Titan, BS1930 Commander, and BS1940 Commander Pro. Each series has its own detail page covering specifications, locking options and use cases, with imagery of the cabinets in real-world settings like the Boulby mine. A Locking Options page consolidates the choice across the range, which matters when buyers need to standardise across multiple sites.
The most distinctive piece of content is the educational layer. A “What is thermal runaway” explainer breaks down the physics of how lithium batteries fail and why purpose-built containment matters, sitting alongside case studies for the Royal Navy, Cleveland Potash and a Blue Light Organisation. Guides covering charging bag versus battery safe comparisons and tradie-focused workplace safety articles give the site real authority on a category that is still new to many Australian buyers.
Functional features support the commercial side of the business. A warranty registration flow captures product data for ongoing service, a Battery Safe Questionnaire helps buyers who need help sizing the right cabinet, and WooCommerce sits underneath to support account management even when the primary CTA is enquiry rather than direct checkout. Bold industrial styling with deep red Phoenix branding pairs with mining and industrial photography to land the message: this is serious kit for serious environments.
The site does what a technical distributor site needs to do. It educates a market that is still learning the category, surfaces certified products with the depth procurement needs, and routes qualified leads straight back to the Australian team.
