Alkimos Family Practice

Alkimos Family Practice is Dr Sam Habashy’s GP clinic on Graceful Boulevard in Alkimos, in Perth’s growing northern coastal corridor. The clinic is open six days a week with walk-in appointments, home visits, and a complete general practice offering including chronic disease management, immunisations, skin checks, women’s and men’s health, mental health and travel medicine. The site needed to do the foundational work for a clinic serving the rapidly developing Alkimos, Eglinton, Butler, Yanchep and Jindalee catchments.

The brief, captured in the DeCODE Digital Website Proposal of April 2025, was to develop a website that serves as a clear, professional hub for patients and visitors. The site needed to highlight the full range of medical services, introduce the doctors practicing at the clinic, and integrate seamlessly with the clinic’s existing booking system (HotDoc). It also needed to handle up-to-date contact information, fees, billing policies, and downloadable documents, all in an accessible, user-friendly format aligned with the practice’s existing branding.

The structure walks patients through the service offering with dedicated coverage of the major areas of general practice. Team profiles for the six doctors give each practitioner the standard medical bio treatment, qualifications, special interests and HotDoc booking integration, so patients can choose the right GP for their needs. A New Patient Form built on Gravity Forms captures the basic patient information practices need before the first appointment, routing submissions straight into the practice management workflow.

A specific challenge for the clinic was communicating the mixed billing arrangements clearly. The practice bulk-bills children under 16 and concession card holders during specific hours, while operating as a mixed-billing clinic otherwise. The site treats this transparently, with billing rules surfaced where patients are most likely to be checking, on the new patient page and on the homepage. The homepage currently carries a billing change notice that demonstrates the site’s flexibility for handling time-sensitive announcements.

Visually the build sits in the clean blue and white medical aesthetic consistent with DeCODE’s wider portfolio of GP clinic sites, with team-led photography rather than stock medical imagery. The practice branding from the existing Alkimos Family Practice logo and visual identity carries through cleanly, ensuring consistency across all patient touchpoints.

The site is part of the Sammy and Co sister network of clinics, sharing template foundations with other DeCODE medical builds for brand and operational consistency across the practice group. HotDoc integration handles the booking flow, with persistent Book Online CTAs across the site so patients can move from intent to confirmed appointment without friction.

The result is a community medical practice site that does the foundational work properly. It introduces the doctors, surfaces the services patients are searching for, handles complex billing rules transparently, and converts patients into HotDoc bookings without ever getting in the way.
