Swan Valley Retreat is a boutique accommodation, day spa and wellness retreat in Henley Brook, set in the heart of the Swan Valley wine region. The offering runs deeper than most: three uniquely styled accommodation rooms (Merlot, Cabernet and The Wine Barrel), a day spa with massage, hydrotherapy, facials, clay treatment and floatation therapy, an Oasis recovery space featuring sauna, ice bath and spa, retreat packages and spa packages, plus a more recent padel court addition. The brand voice is “where fast lives slow down,” and the website needed to carry that aspirational positioning across multiple booking flows.
The brief was a premium hospitality site that could coordinate three separate booking systems, accommodation via Book Direct, spa via Fresha, padel court via Fresha, while keeping the user experience cohesive. Add gift voucher sales, an Instagram feed for the constantly updating content side, and a brand presentation that justified the rate card, and the site needed to do real work for a long-running client with multiple build iterations behind it.
The structure handles each side of the business with its own treatment. Accommodation gets a gallery-led presentation of the three rooms, with each room’s individual character (the moody Merlot, the elegant Cabernet, the playful Wine Barrel) coming through in dedicated photography. The Day Spa side organises treatments cleanly with pricing and booking, with the Oasis recovery space getting its own elevated treatment as the wellness-curious entry point. Retreat packages and spa packages bundle the offer into multi-day or full-day experiences that drive higher-value bookings.
The padel court addition is handled with the same care as the established offering, with its own booking flow and content that explains the sport for the curious newcomer. The cross-selling between accommodation, spa and padel is built into the site architecture so a guest booking accommodation can easily add a spa treatment, and vice versa.
Visually the build sits in a premium black-and-cream styling with hero Vimeo background video that does the aspirational work in the opening seconds. The Instagram feed integration keeps the visual content fresh, pulling in the constantly updated lifestyle imagery that does so much of the brand’s marketing on social. Typography is refined and serif-led, with generous white space that signals the relaxed pace of the retreat itself.
Gift voucher sales handle a meaningful revenue stream for the business, with vouchers redeemable across accommodation, spa and packages. The “where fast lives slow down” voice runs consistently across the build, anchoring every page in the same aspirational positioning.
The result is a hospitality site that earns its premium positioning. It coordinates three booking flows without confusing the guest, surfaces the depth of the offering across accommodation, spa and recovery, and carries the brand voice that distinguishes Swan Valley Retreat from a standard regional getaway.
