Walter sees patients across a wide spectrum of issues, from straightforward ankle sprains and plantar fasciitis through to complex diabetes-related foot care, paediatric podiatry and sports injuries. The website needed to do something a solo podiatry clinic rarely does: act as a deep reference guide that helps prospective patients self-diagnose, learn about their condition, and book in with confidence.
The brief was a content-led SEO build that could rank for the breadth of foot condition keywords that drive new patient enquiries. People search for their symptoms before they search for a clinic, and the site that explains the condition well is often the one they end up booking with. That meant building out a substantial library of condition-specific pages alongside the standard services pages.
The structure goes wide on conditions, with dedicated pages for 24-plus foot problems from ankle sprains to bunions to verrucae, plantar fasciitis to Morton’s neuroma to ingrown toenails. Each page is written in plain English with the level of detail a patient genuinely needs, signs and symptoms, what causes the problem, how it is treated, and when to see a podiatrist. The services side covers Walter’s full treatment offering, including rehabilitation, foot mobilisation, paediatrics, sports podiatry, diabetes care and nail surgery.
This depth of content means the site does real organic work.
