Rising Stars WA is a Perth-based junior football club focused on developing young players through structured coaching and a strong community ethos. The club has been in operation for years, with a Drive folder of working files dating back to 2018, and this build is the latest in a long-running relationship with the team. As with most community football clubs, the website needed to handle the practical jobs of team information, registration, fixtures and sponsor recognition, while carrying the energy and colour that gets juniors excited about pulling on the club jersey.
The brief was a community sports club brochure that could showcase team and program info, drive registrations of interest, surface fixtures and game day information, and acknowledge the sponsors who keep junior football affordable for local families. The colour and tone needed to feel bold and vibrant, the kind of brand that a seven-year-old wants to be part of as much as their parents do.
The structure walks visitors through the club’s programs and age groups, with clear paths into player registration. Coaching philosophy and the development approach sit alongside team information so prospective families can understand what makes Rising Stars different from other local clubs. Fixtures and game schedules are surfaced for the current season, with sponsor recognition built into the design to give local businesses ongoing visibility.
Visually the build leans bold and energetic, with strong club colours, action photography of training and game day, and typography that feels like a contemporary sports brand. The whole tone is built to translate the on-field energy of junior football into a digital experience that supports recruitment and retention rather than the static notice-board feel that defines too many community club sites.
Practical features support the volunteer committee. Registration enquiry forms, contact pathways for coaches and committee members, and content that committee members can update without a developer’s involvement all make the site sustainable across multiple seasons. Sponsor logos sit visibly in the design with backlinks that thank the supporting businesses for their ongoing contribution.
The result is a community sports club site that does the work the club needs it to do. It carries the energy of junior football, surfaces the practical information families need to register and play, and gives sponsors the recognition that keeps them coming back season after season.
