What we built in

DMH Hairdressing is a 5-star Gold accredited salon in Wanneroo offering cuts, colour, balayage, extensions, smoothing treatments and wedding hair, with a genuine eco-friendly ethos (97% waste recycled, ECOHEADS water-saving heads). The site combines a Client Diary booking integration with a WooCommerce shop for L’Oreal and Virtue product, supported by dedicated landing pages for each major treatment and transparent pricing. Soft, feminine styling with warm photography of real client work runs throughout, and a dedicated Awards page anchors the salon’s Australian Hairdressing Council credentials. The build supports both new client conversion and existing client convenience without one cannibalising the other.

DMH Hairdressing is an award-winning, 5-star Gold accredited salon and barbershop based on Wanneroo Road in Perth’s northern suburbs. The team handles the full hairdressing spectrum, cuts and styles, colour, balayage and ombre, colour correction, hair extensions, AGI ONE smoothing, treatments, wedding hair and men’s services, with a strong eco-friendly ethos that runs through every part of the business. They recycle 97% of their salon waste and use ECOHEADS to reduce water consumption, which puts them genuinely ahead of most of the industry on sustainability.

The brief was to build a site that could carry the salon’s award credentials, support online booking integration, and run a retail shop for L’Oreal and Virtue product lines. DMH had been recognised by the Australian Hairdressing Council with its 5-star Gold accreditation, a credential that recognises sustainability standards, business ethics, customer service and ongoing training. The site needed to put that front and centre while also handling the practical jobs of new client conversion and existing client convenience.

The structure walks visitors through the full service range with dedicated landing pages for each major treatment, supported by transparent pricing, a regularly updated offers section, and a blog that covers hair care education and salon news. Booking integration runs through Client Diary, with persistent Book Online buttons in the header and footer ensuring that conversion is never more than one click away. The retail side is a WooCommerce shop with a curated range of professional product, treated as a natural extension of the in-salon experience rather than a separate channel.

Visually the build leans into soft, feminine styling with warm photography of real client work, particularly across the colour and extensions galleries. The hero opens with “Looking After You & Our Planet” which captures both the customer experience and the sustainability angle in a single line. The Awards page consolidates the Gold accreditation badging into a dedicated trust signal, while a five-star reviews section pulls through client feedback throughout the site.

Practical features matter for a salon at this end of the market. Opening hours are easy to find with a clear note that Thursday late nights are by appointment, a complimentary colour consultation booking option lowers the barrier for colour correction enquiries, and the contact section makes the Wanneroo Road location and parking obvious. The eco-friendly note in the footer keeps the values visible on every page.

For DMH the site does what a good salon website should do. It introduces the team’s expertise and credentials, makes booking effortless, and translates the in-salon experience into something a first-time visitor can feel before they walk through the door.
