Renew Me is an established natural and vegan skincare brand with a loyal customer base and a growing online following. While the brand itself was strong, the existing website had begun to hold the business back. The design felt dated, the shopping experience lacked clarity, and the site was no longer supporting the level of growth the brand was aiming for.
DeCODE Digital was engaged to undertake a full website redevelopment that would modernise the brand’s digital presence, improve the customer journey, and create a smoother, more reliable e-commerce experience, while also protecting and improving search visibility.
A Modern Rebuild Without Losing Search Ground
One of the key challenges with this project was rebuilding the website without damaging existing SEO performance. The Renew Me site already had established rankings and indexed pages, so the redevelopment required careful planning, technical clean-up, and a structured redirect strategy.
We completed a full audit of the existing site, removed outdated content and broken links, and implemented 301 redirects to ensure search engines and returning customers were guided cleanly to the new structure. This allowed Renew Me to move forward with a refreshed site while maintaining continuity in search and traffic.
Improving the Shopping Experience
At the core of the rebuild was e-commerce performance. The site was restructured to make products easier to discover, understand, and purchase, with clearer navigation, improved product layouts, and a more intuitive checkout flow.
Different product types, including physical skincare products and digital resources, were given tailored layouts to suit how customers browse and buy. The result is a shopping experience that feels straightforward, calm, and aligned with the values of the brand, rather than transactional or cluttered.
Design, UX, and Brand Consistency
The visual direction of the new site was refined to better reflect Renew Me’s positioning in the natural skincare space. The design is clean, modern, and considered, using typography, spacing, and imagery to create a sense of trust and clarity.
User experience was a major focus throughout the build. Navigation was simplified, page layouts were standardised, and the site was designed to perform just as well on mobile as it does on desktop, recognising that a significant portion of Renew Me’s audience shops on smaller screens.
SEO and Technical Foundations
Search engine optimisation was embedded into the build from the ground up. Page structures, headings, metadata, and internal linking were all reviewed and refined to support long-term organic performance.
The site was also optimised for speed and reliability, with unnecessary plugins removed, images compressed, and performance tested across devices. Analytics, Search Console, and enhanced e-commerce tracking were configured to give the Renew Me team clear visibility over how users interact with the site post-launch.
Built for Ongoing Growth
Beyond launch, the new Renew Me website is designed to be easy to manage and extend. Products, content, guides, and resources can be added without friction, allowing the brand to continue evolving its offering without needing to rebuild again in the near future.
The end result is a polished, functional e-commerce platform that supports Renew Me’s brand values, improves conversion, and provides a solid foundation for future marketing and growth.
