This project was a collaborative effort to create a digital ecosystem that reflects the brand’s ethos and enhances the user experience for travellers seeking unique and authentic journeys.

Project Overview

The primary aim was to develop a website serving as a comprehensive information hub and sales platform for Connie White Travel Agency. Our objectives included:

  • Establishing an online brand presence and redevelop the existing logo/brand.
  • Creating an easy-to-use, editable framework.
  • Developing an intuitive backend for effortless addition of tours and information.
  • Incorporating infrastructure for blogging, articles, and galleries.
  • Ensuring SEO optimisation and tracking setup.

Innovative Design and Development

Our approach involved crafting a mobile-optimised, dynamic WordPress website with editable content for ongoing changes and development. The website showcases the diverse services provided by Connie White, with a special focus on Sicily Tours for groups.

  • Branding and Imagery: We reworked the logo and colour palette to align with the brand’s identity. The website features a mix of carefully selected stock images and personal photographs provided by Connie; all optimised for web use.
  • User Experience: The design strategy was centred around UX/UI considerations, creating a modern and elegant interface that appeals to the target audience of 55 to 65+ while also attracting other market segments.
  • Tour and Blog Pages: A custom ecosystem was built to house tour pages, including “in-house” tours, school tours, and third-party tours with booking links. The blog pages were set up to showcase past tours with filterable results, enhancing user engagement.

SEO and Marketing Integration

  • Google Business Listing: We created a listing using digital assets from the website to match branding and backlinked properties to the website for launch SEO.
  • Search Engine Optimisation: Comprehensive SEO strategies were implemented, including meta, titles, tags, and full site SEO preparation.
  • Site Launch & Indexing: We ensured sitemap creation, submission, and manual site and page indexing for optimal web presence.

Themes, Assets, and Plugins

The website was equipped with various plugins and themes, including Beaver Builder, Gravity Forms, and Smart Slider, all contributing to a robust and flexible web infrastructure.

Hosting and Maintenance

Recognising the importance of regular updates and maintenance, we provided the hosting and maintenance solution to ensure the website’s security, fast performance, and performance in Google search rankings.
